What functions have Shortcut keys?

to switch the Snap mode between absolute and relative - d

What can the Mouse do?

Navigation - Scrolling and Zooming

to scroll horizontally - rotate mouse wheel,

to zoom in/out vertically - drag the vertical button (above the window Resizer) down/up
to zoom in/out horizontally at the current mouse position - Ctrl+mouse-wheel
to zoom in/out continuously relative to the start of the track - drag the middle horizontal Zoom button

Song and Loop Positions

this section is new for v1.4.0 to set the Start of Loop position - click in the top row of the song position bar
to set the End of Loop position - right-click in the top row of the song position bar
to set the Start Play position - click in the lower row of the song position bar

Managing Audio Channels

to change the output port - drag the Output port value (e.g. <01) up or down
to set the pan position left/right - drag the pan value down/up
to set the volume - drag the volume value up or down

Editing Audio Parts

to add a sample into a channel - open the audio sample folder in a Browser, drag and drop the desired audio file into the channel.

to select multiple clips - Shift+click them
to unselect one clip when several are selected - Shift+click it
to move the selected clip(s) - drag it left or right, or from one channel to another
to copy the selected clip(s) - Ctrl+drag left or right, or from one channel to another

to split a clip - Alt+right-click at the split position

to change the Clip volume - drag the Clip Volume value up or down
to change the Clip pan position - drag the Clip Pan value up or down
to change the Clip pitch (transpose) and length - drag the Clip Coarse value up or down
to fine tune the Clip pitch (detune) and length - drag the Clip Fine value up or down
to set the Fade In time for the clip - drag the Clip F.In value
to set the Fade Out time for the clip - drag the Clip F.out value


Audio Clip Editor

- - the clip appears in the Clip Editing window
- - the top lane shows the position of the window relative to the complete clip

to set the clip start point - drag the start line
to set the clip end point - drag the end line

Editing Clip Volume Envelopes

to add a new envelope point - Alt+click,
or double-click, in the waveform
to remove an envelope point - right-click it
to change the envelope - drag the envelope point, left, right, up or down

Resize, Quantize Length and Split Notes

to change the length of selected note(s) - drag the end of a selected note,
or (with M.Wh. set to Resize), rotate the wheel Up or Down

Move, Transpose and Quantize Notes

to move (reposition) selected note(s) - drag a selected note (anywhere other than at the end of the note,
or (with M.Wh. set to Move) rotate the wheel Up or Down
to transpose selected note(s) - drag a selected note (anywhere other than at the end of the note,
or (with M.Wh. set to Transpose) rotate the wheel Up or Down

Copy and Paste Notes

to copy and paste selected notes - Ctrl+drag

Step Recording

What functions have Shortcut keys?

to start/stop Step Recording - F4
to jump to end of part - End
to jump to start of part - Home
to enter a one-step note at Step position - Insert
to scroll up/down by one octave - Page Up/Down
to move the Step position - Right/Left/Up/Down arrows

Editing MIDI Velocity

What can the Mouse do?

to minimise/restore the Velocity view - click the Close/Open button at the right-hand end of the view title bar,
or drag the divider just above the view title bar all the way down or drag it upwards
to expand/contract the view vertically - drag the divider just above the view title bar up/down
to increase/decrease velocity of a selected note - drag the note's velocity bar up/down (127 values are available
to increase/decrease velocity of selected notes - drag through the bars at the desired values (height of bars)
to increase/decrease a series of notes - drag through the bars at the desired values (height of bars)

Editing MIDI Controller CC Data

What functions have Shortcut keys?

to move selected CC events- Ctrl+Left/Right arrow

What can the Mouse do?

to minimise/restore the view - click the Close/Open button at the right-hand end of the view title bar,
or drag the divider just above the view title bar all the way down or drag it upwards
to expand/contract the view vertically - drag the divider just above the view title bar up/down

to insert a control event - Alt+click
to insert a series of events - Alt+drag
to change the value of a control event - click it at the desired value (height of bar),
or drag the bar up or down,
to increase/decrease the values of a series of control events - drag through the bars at the desired values (height of bars)
to set the value of multiple CC events - select them in the Event List (Ctrl+click), enter the value in the controller Value box
to delete a control event - right-click it

Composer

to view/hide the Composer - Ctrl+1

to set the compose length - drag the Beats value up/down
